Meet The Doctor
Stephen Cary, D.M.D
Dr. Cary has been practicing general dentistry in the Providence and East Providence area for 33 years. His mission is to improve his patients’ overall health by maximizing their oral health, since there is a direct link between a healthy mouth and healthy body.
Dr. Cary earned his D.M.D. degree from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry and his General Practice Residency certificate from Rhode Island Hospital. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including bonded composite(white) fillings, amalgam restorations, crowns, implants, endodontics (root canals), periodontal therapy, simple extractions, removable prosthetics, and preventive care for children and adults. As a general dentist he also works closely with local specialists to coordinate care when the expertise of a dental specialist is in the best interest of the patient.
Dr. Cary is a member of the Providence Plantations Dental Study Club, and he is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Dental Hygiene at the Community College of Rhode Island. He enjoys golf and skiing and has been a resident of Seekonk, MA since 1978.
